Since graduating from London School of Contemporary Dance a long time ago (!), Lindsey has worked with numerous dance, theatre, opera companies and directors as a dancer, aerialist, teacher, mentor and choreographer.

These include; Extemporary Dance Theatre, Random Dance Co (Brighton Festival), Walker Dance/ Park Music, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Charlie Morrissey, Vincent Dance Theatre, Siobhan Davies Dance Company plus The Royal, Royal Danish, Slovenian, English National and Glyndebourne Opera companies.

In 1989, Lindsey joined Ra – Ra Zoo Circus Theatre and began further training in aerial skills. Her circus credits as performer, teacher and advisor include; Ra – Ra Zoo, No Ordinary Angels, Gandini Juggling Project, The Dream Engine, Desperate Men, Scarabeus, Momentary Fusion, Tango and Crash, Yes/No’s ‘Lost & Found Orchestra’, Upswing and Fidget Feet.

Lindsey remains a proud and frankly, still astonished Guinness world record holder for synchronised aerial fabrics!

She has an established aerial dance practice teaching at Aerial Dance Festivals both in the UK and across Europe and teaches vertical dance masterclasses Internationally.

Much of her vertical dance choreographic experience and development has been through collaborations with Scarabeus Aerial Theatre for which she remains hugely grateful.

In 2003 Lindsey founded ‘Gravity & Levity’, (G&L) a disabled-led aerial dance company. G&L founded and runs the European Aerial Dance Festival now in its 12th year alongside a vast array of CPD opportunities for artists at all levels of their practice.

Lindsey is a hearing-impaired artist.
