Victoria McManus is Artistic Director and head trainer at The Circus Project, Hove. A charity delivering high quality circus arts training, workshops and events to the Brighton and Hove community. Working with a creative and talented youth group and adult classes of 100+ students a week at Hangleton Community Centre. Her mission is to promote circus as a fun, creative and expressive way of increasing health and wellbeing for everyone.
Victoria started her training in aerial circus arts at The National Centre For Circus Arts, London in 1998 after graduating with a BA Hons in Performing Arts at the University of Hertfordshire.
Victorias career in the contemporary circus scene has led her to work internationally on Cruise ships, Crane shows, festivals, Corporate events and many sporting Ceremonies. She has Worked with companies and artists such as Gravity and Levity, Fidget Feet Aerial Dance, Scarabeus Aerial Theatre, The Shakespeare Globe, Kylie Minoque, Spymonkey, The Insect Circus, The Generating Company and London 2012 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies.
