Chantal is another EADF regular having taught almost every year since its inception. As Artistic director of Fidget Feet Chantal also founded and runs the Irish Aerial Dance Fest our sister aerial festival and is the best ‘craic’!

This will be Danilo’s 2nd year at the EADF and we’re so looking forward to welcoming him back. A beautiful fabric and rope artist, Danilo’s classes were really popular last year and he’s only with us for 1 week this year.

Gary Carter

Gary Carter has over 30 years of experience in movement physical training, anatomical study and bodywork practices. With a background in athletics, competition cycling, bodybuilding, martial arts, yoga and manual therapies he is, (according to Lindsey), a body work guru and inspirational teacher. For 1 day only – Sun 11th!

This year we are fortunate to be joined by James Wellington in week 2. A circus specialist physiotherapist who will offer cyr wheel and aerial surgeries, (see class descriptions) and also a pop up physio clinic – Mon 12th –-Thurs 15th

 Kat is an EADF mainstay and also a regular tutor at the IADF as a core Fidget Feet Co member. A wonderful teacher with a great sense of humour, her classes are guaranteed fun alongside the learning. Or ‘Dr Kate’ as we should now call her has taught extensively on past EADF’s. A hugely experienced vertical dance teacher and choreographer and a huge asset to the festival.

A stunning dancer and talented dance and yoga teacher. Last year was KJ’s 1st festival and she’s coming back – yay.

Lee Clayden

Lee is fabulous – ‘nough said! An IADF and Fidget Feet mainstay, he’s an all round wonderful dancer, aerialist, rigger, yoga, Gyrotonics teacher and choreographer and lovely to boot.

Lindsey Butcher

Lindsey is the Artistic Director of Gravity & Levity and founder of the EADF, now in its 10th year – whoop whoop! Lindsey regularly mentors and directs professional artists and is available to work with on Vertical and Aerial Dance Harness Act Creation in weeks 1 and 2.

Lydia is an aerial dance festival regular and for the 2nd year running will be teaching at the EADF. A beautiful aerialist and experienced teacher, we’re sure you’ll love working with her.

Magalie’s dance class is always a festival sell out success. A gorgeous dancer and wonderfully generous teacher, you can catch her at several points during the day including her contact dance technique class and the massage and stretch class mmmmmmnnnn…….!

Mark Morreau

Mark documents the entire EADF, capturing all aspects of the festival and creating wonderful snapshots and a short film each year including the weekend performances so you get a copy of the act you created.

Mish Weaver

Mish Weaver

Mish is a wonderfully inventive aerial and circus performance teacher who has been exploring the voice and physicality for many years –she’s with us for this 1 day only.

Sacha Blanchard

Sacha will work with Mark again this year teaching cyr wheel and acrobatics. Sacha is a cyr wheel artist who has previously coached gymnasts at elite level.

Sarah Poole

Lucky lucky us, Sarah’s coming back for the 3rd year in a row –woo hoo! Don’t miss your chance to study with one of École nationale de cirque’s lead aerial tutors and regularly choreographs for Cirque du Soleil. Name your favourite rope and dance trapeze stars to graduate from ENC, Sarah taught them and this year she’s teaching fabric too. Get in there.

Shereen will support in classes again this year, h’ray and also lead one of the hula hoop courses. She is a regular teacher with The Circus Project in Brighton and we’re sure you’ll love working with her.

We’re delighted to have Suzon back assisting classes this year. She has extensive teaching experience, holds a degree in Circus pedagogy, and graduated from both the NECCA pro track course and ‘Carampa’ Spain.

This will be Simons 5th EADF, overseeing the aerial rigging throughout the festival and keeping you all safe so be nice. He’s also an experienced mountain guide and incredible chef – good combo and a great person to keep on side.

Victoria McManus is a delight to work with. This is Vicki’s 2nd festival as a tutor but she has a whole wealth of teaching experience to share. Clear and articulate with a great sense of fun she’s only with us for 1 week though so make the most of it.

Saar Rombout

Saar Rombout

Saar graduated from the Academy for Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg in 2012 and has been attending, teaching and performing at aerial dance festivals around the world ever since. This is her 2nd EADF teaching double cloud swing in the weekend specials programme and her debut teaching regular multi corde tech and creative classes.

Mark is a hugely popular much sought after Cyr teacher and this will be his 6th EADF – crikey! These classes tend to sell quickly so get in there sharpish.

Jo Welch

Jo aims to nurture and inspire people through yoga. She teaches public and private yoga classes and workshops in various venues around Hampshire (including here at The Point) and volunteers for Solent Mind, teaching yoga for those struggling with their mental health.
